Chennai, May 1 -- Both home favourites Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI) are five time champions of the lucrative Indian Premier League.
But for both the most marquee squads, this edition was not that lucrative as it used to be in the past. Both the teams had consistently dished out inconsistent cricket with the threat of losing a play off slot looming large. Their performance so far was nothing short of below par and not upto the expectations.
Both of them have played eight matches each and for the record CSK, with three wins, one win higher than MI, was lying in the sixth position in the points table (6 points), with MI at the bottom--in the ninth position (four points with two wins).
