Hyderabad, May 14 -- CSIR-National Geophysical Research Institute (CSIR-NGRI) on Thursday hosted the Nationwide Roadshow on E-Tractor and E-Tiller, along with National Technology Day celebrations, highlighting the role of innovation in promoting sustainable and inclusive agriculture.
The electric tractor and tiller, developed by CSIR-Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-CMERI), are designed especially for small and marginal farmers as eco-friendly, cost-effective, and low-maintenance alternatives to conventional diesel-powered farm equipment.
