New Delhi, Aug. 3 -- The CSIR-Central Road Research Institute (CSIR-CRRI) on Monday launched field surveys of roads across Delhi-NCR as part of a project to develop a standard framework for paving and greening urban roads aimed at improving road infrastructure and reducing dust pollution, said officials from the Ministry of Science and Technology.
The surveys will be carried out using a newly-inducted indigenous Network Survey Vehicle (NSV), which was flagged off by CSIR-CRRI Director Chalumuri Ravi Sekhar at the institute's New Delhi campus.
