Kochi, Sept. 12 -- V. Santhakumaran Nair (89), father of former Indian cricketer S. Sreesanth, died at a private hospital here on Friday night.
Santhakumaran Nair, of Ambattu Kunnel family at Mathirappilly in Kothamangalam, breathed his last around 10 pm.
The mortal remains will be taken to the ancestral home at Kothamangalam on Sunday after relatives living abroad arrive.
The body will be kept for public homage at the ancestral house from 1000 hours to 1400 hours on Sunday. The funeral will be held at 1600 hours the same day.
