Chandigarh, March 19 -- Indian cricketer Abhishek Sharma visited his home district, Amritsar on Thursday following the successful T20 World Cup campaign, and offered prayers at major religious places along with his mother.
During his visit, Sharma first paid obeisance at Sri Darbar Sahib and Shaheed Sahib Gurdwara, seeking blessings and expressing gratitude for the World Cup win. He also prayed for the well-being and prosperity of the nation.
He later visited the Bada Hanuman Mandir, continuing his spiritual tour with his mother by his side.
