New Delhi, July 2 -- Communist Party of India leader and Rajya Sabha MP P Sandosh Kumar on Thursday wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking a comprehensive audit by the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) and an independent judicial inquiry into alleged irregularities involving donations received by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, claiming the controversy had shaken the faith of millions of devotees.
In a strongly worded letter, Sandosh Kumar alleged that reports of missing cash, gold, silver and other valuables donated by devotees warranted an impartial investigation and complete transparency.
