Kozhikode, Sept. 16 -- BJP national secretary K. Surendran on Wednesday strongly criticized the CPI-M's recent error-correction efforts, dismissing them as a "cheap trick" to deceive both the public and party workers.

Speaking to reporters in Kozhikode on Wednesday, Surendran mocked the CPI-M's error-correction initiatives, describing the underwhelming results as "a mountain giving birth to a rat."He pointed out that a similar plenum was held in 2013 where guidelines were issued, only to be completely violated later.

He questioned the CPI-M's true stance on corruption, specifically asking if any rectifications were made regarding allegations of the former Chief Minister's family accepting bribes.
