Shimla, June 14 -- The Himachal Pradesh unit of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) Sunday expressed serious concern over the alleged shortage of LPG cylinders and restrictions on the sale of petrol and diesel in the state, claiming that the situation has adversely affected rural households, farmers and orchardists.
In a statement issued here, CPI(M) State Secretary Sanjay Chauhan claimed that the conditions imposed by the Centre regarding the supply of LPG cylinders have disrupted the distribution network in the state, particularly in rural areas.
