Hyderabad, Sept. 27 -- The CPI(M) Telangana State Committee has extended its support to the three-day nationwide strike called by the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) on September 28, 29 and 30.
In a statement, CPI(M) Telangana State Secretary John Wesley on Sunday said the main aim of the strike is to press for a five-day working week, opposing the unilateral approach towards the Performance Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme and seeking resolution of issues related to the 12th Bipartite Wage Settlement.
He demanded that the Central Government immediately address the concerns raised by bank employees and officers and appealed to the working class across Telangana to extend support and make the strike successful.
