Hyderabad, Sept. 16 -- CPI national leader K Narayana on Wednesday urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi not to yield to what he termed as pressure and "harassment" by the United States over tariff-related issues.
In a statement, Mr Narayana said US President Donald Trump was seeking legislative approval for further economic tariff measures and alleged that the move was primarily aimed at India. He claimed that the US had not agreed to measures benefiting India and was using tariff threats to exert pressure on the country.
