Patna, Aug. 22 -- The Communist Party of India (CPI) claimed on Friday that its ongoing foot march across Bihar and preparations for its September 1 "Badlav Zaroori Hai" (Change is Necessary) rally in Delhi were receiving "substantial public support", with inflation, unemployment and farmers' and workers' issues emerging as key concerns.

CPI Bihar secretary Ram Naresh Pandey said here that the foot march, launched on August 6 as part of the party's nationwide campaign, was being conducted across villages in the state under the slogans "Badlav Zaroori Hai" and "Chalo Delhi".
