Kolkata, July 21 -- West Bengal has reported four fresh COVID-19 cases, including a minor, raising concerns over a possible resurgence of the viral infection.
Health department and hospital sources said three of the patients are undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Kolkata, while the minor has been admitted to another private hospital in the city.
All four patients reportedly developed common COVID-19 symptoms, including sore throat, fever and persistent cough.
The minor, a resident of Garia, was taken to the hospital with fever, cold and breathing difficulties.
Doctors initially suspected a viral infection and conducted a swab test, which confirmed COVID-19.
