Patna, June 12 -- First Class Judicial Magistrate of Patna Civil Court Anurag Verma today rejected the regular bail applications of two security guards, Pradeep Kumar and Talebar Singh, of coaching institute director Faizal Khan, popularly known as Khan Sir, who are lodged in jail in connection with a case involving alleged attempt to murder and illegal use of firearms.
During the hearing, defence counsel Arvind Kumar Mauar argued that both accused were innocent and sought their release on regular bail. The prosecution opposed the plea and urged the court to reject the applications.
After examining the case diary submitted by the police and hearing arguments from both sides, the court declined to grant regular bail to the two accused.
