Patna, Sept. 21 -- The Patna High Court has granted bail to two juveniles accused in a case involving the alleged transportation of a commercial quantity of ganja from Assam to Bihar and directed the SSP, Patna, to conduct an inquiry into their age claims and alleged security lapses.
The court passed the order while allowing two criminal revision petitions arising out of DRI Patna Unit Case No. 01 of 2024-25, registered under various provisions of the NDPS Act.
According to the case records, DRI officials had intercepted a Mahindra TUV vehicle allegedly travelling from Guwahati to Didarganj, Patna, and recovered 63.760 kg of ganja (net weight) packed in 109 plastic packets from a concealed cavity in the vehicle.
