Bhopal, May 20 -- A court in Bhopal on Wednesday declined a second post mortem on deceased Twisha Sharma's body, kept for the past eight days in the mortuary of AIIMS Bhopal.
The court ordered that the body be preserved, following a plea moved by her family.
The order was passed by Judicial Magistrate First Class Anudita Gupta.
The court directed the Bhopal police to immediately obtain information regarding low-temperture preservation facility in MP and submit a written report immediately to the court without delay.
The Bhopal police urged Twisha Sharma's family to take custody of her body amid concerns that it could begin decomposing while they await approval for a fresh autopsy.
