Darbhanga, Oct. 14 -- District and Additional Sessions Judge Upendra Kumar on Wednesday sentenced two persons to rigorous life imprisonment in connection with a nearly four-year-old murder case.
Pronouncing the verdict, the judge also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 each against the convicts. The convicts are Deepak Kamti and Ganga Kamti residents of Ujan Garhtol village under Saketpur police station limits.
Public Prosecutor Amarendra Narayan Jha said the incident took place at around 3 am on May 12, 2022, when the two accused allegedly entered the courtyard of Pappu Kamti, 32, son of Prabhu Kamti, in Ujan Garhtol village and stabbed him to death.
