Imphal, July 10 -- A couple was arrested on Friday in connection with the killing of six hostages.
Manipur Police said on the basis of credible inputs from their own sources, a joint team of Manipur Police, NIA and CRPF launched a precise operation to apprehend two accused who were allegedly involved in the killing of six Naga individuals on May 13 at Leilon Vaiphei village.
Police said the operation was launched in the early morning hours at Leilon Vaiphei.
In the operation, Pradip and his wife Ayingbi of Leilon Vaiphei village were arrested.
