Chandigarh, May 25 -- A disturbing video recorded moments before a Mohali-based couple allegedly threw their three children into a canal in Patiala and attempted suicide themselves has surfaced online, intensifying shock over the incident that claimed the lives of all three minors.
Police said the 17-second video was recorded shortly before the couple jumped into the Bhakra Narwana Branch canal near Nardu bridge in Rajpura on Sunday afternoon. In the clip, the man can allegedly be heard blaming his parents and sisters for forcing the family to take the extreme step.
