Lucknow, July 30 -- In a major crackdown on the illegal trade of counterfeit medicines, the Uttar Pradesh Food Safety and Drug Administration (FSDA) has busted an organised syndicate allegedly using fake billing, cross-billing, and fraudulent transactions to circulate spurious drugs in the market.
Six FIRs have been registered at Aminabad Police Station in Lucknow, with the investigation targeting the wider financial and supply chain network behind the racket.
