Mumbai, May 11 -- Shiv Sena leader and Deputy Chairperson of the Maharashtra Legislative Council, Dr. Neelam Gorhe, has drawn the administration's attention to the issues of sanitation, the poor condition of public toilets, and waste management in the Yerawada-Gandhinagar area under the Pune Municipal Corporation limits.

Shiv Sena Pune City Organizer Anand Goyal had submitted a memorandum in November last year highlighting the growing garbage problem in the area as well as the lack of water and electricity facilities in public toilets.

In this regard, Dr. Neelam Gorhe has written to Deputy Chief Minister and Urban Development Minister Eknath Shinde, as well as the Pune Municipal Commissioner, requesting necessary action.
