Kolhapur, Oct. 21 -- Congress senior leader and MLC Satej alias Bunty Patil has alleged that a coordinated programme was actively running to entice voters with financial compensation in the Pune Teachers' constituency.
At a press conference today, Patil, who is also district Congress president and group leader in the state legislature council, made serious allegations of malpractice during a campaign event for the Pune Teachers' constituency MLC election.
During his interactions supporting Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) candidate Jayant Asgaonkar, Patil targeted the rival Mahayuti candidates.
He openly accused the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena's candidate, Sachin Sanap, of distributing money to bribe teacher-voters in Pune.
