New Delhi, July 28 -- The Delhi Congress today launched a sharp attack on the BJP-led governments at the Centre, Delhi and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), alleging that widespread waterlogging and traffic congestion following heavy rainfall had exposed the ruling party's claims of comprehensive monsoon preparedness.

Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) president Devender Yadav said the fresh spell of rain that lashed the national capital today morning submerged several roads and brought traffic to a crawl, despite repeated assurances by the Delhi government that extensive pre-monsoon measures had been put in place.
