Nagpur, July 11 -- : Congress National spokesperson Alok Sharma on Saturday accused the BJP and RSS of indulging in "politics in the name of religion" and alleged that the "only religion" of these organisations was wealth.
Addressing a press conference in Nagpur, Sharma said the Ram Temple in Ayodhya was a centre of faith for crores of devotees and people from across the country had contributed financially towards its construction with the hope of seeing a grand temple.
"However, allegations have emerged that thousands of crores of rupees and materials donated by devotees have gone missing," he said.
