New Delhi, Sept. 9 -- The Congress on Wednesday demanded the immediate constitution of a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) to investigate an alleged tax scam of more than Rs 10,000 crore involving 3,260 registered unrecognised political parties, accusing the Narendra Modi government of failing to take stringent action despite the alleged irregularities coming to light nearly a year ago.
