Shimla, Feb. 27 -- The Congress State unit on Friday released a soical media post rebutting the Bharatiya Janata Party's statements regarding the recent face-off between the Himachal Pradesh Police and the Delhi Police over the detention of three workers of the Indian Youth Congress (IYC).
The controversy erupted after Delhi Police personnel reportedly arrived in Himachal Pradesh to take custody of three IYC workers. The state police registered an FIR and stopped around 20 plainclothes Delhi Police personnel, leading to a standoff between the two forces on February 25 and 26.
