Hyderabad, April 19 -- Bhuvanagiri Member of Parliament Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy on Sunday alleged that the BJP was politicising the issue of women's reservation for electoral gains, while asserting that the Congress and the INDIA alliance fully support its implementation.
In a video statement, he said Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent remarks on women were aimed at garnering political mileage ahead of upcoming elections in Tamil Nadu and West Bengal. He criticised the Centre for convening a special session of Parliament on the 16th, 17th, and 18th of this month, claiming it was done with an eye on electoral advantage.
