Mancherial, June 11 -- Telangana Labour, Mines and Employment Minister G Vivek Venkataswamy and Peddapalli MP Gaddam Vamsi Krishna on Thursday strongly opposed the deletion of voters' names under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process and demanded that such removals be immediately reversed to safeguard citizens' voting rights.

Addressing an awareness and training programme for Booth Level Agents (BLAs) at MNR Gardens in Gadderagadi village of Mandamarri mandal in Mancherial district, the leaders alleged that the BJP was using the SIR exercise to target opposition supporters. Zahirabad MP Suresh Shetkar also attended the programme.
