Patna, April 17 -- Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha slammed the Congress and opposition parties after the Women's Reservation Bill failed to pass in the Lok Sabha, saying the party had brought upon itself "another stain after the Emergency."Sinha alleged here that by defeating the bill, the Congress had once again betrayed women's rights. He claimed that a conspiracy was hatched to defeat the Women's Reservation Bill just by a margin of just 54 votes in the Lok Sabha.
The opposition has exposed its actual face yet again as it has the history of opposing women's reservation, he said.
