Ranchi, Oct. 31 -- More than 15,000 Congress workers from Jharkhand are expected to participate in the party's 'Loktantra Bachao' rally at Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi, where over 10 lakh participants are projected to gather from across the country.
Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee president Keshav Mahto Kamlesh said preparations for the rally had been completed and party workers from all districts of the state were reaching Delhi to participate in the programme.
He described the rally as a movement to protect the Constitution, democratic values and people's right to vote.
He alleged that the impartiality of the Election Commission had come under question and that attempts were being made to weaken citizens' voting rights.
