Vijayawada, June 1 -- : Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) Vice-President Kolanukonda Shivaji has given credit for establishing the new South Coast Railway Zone to the Congress party as it incorporated the railway zone issue in the AP Reorganisation Act 2014.

Addressing a press conference here on Monday, Kolanukonda Shivaji welcomed the functioning of the SCoR zone in Visakhapatnam and highlighted that the then Congress-led Central government included the establishment of a new railway zone in AP under Item 8 of Schedule 13 of the 2014 Reorganisation Act.
