Karnal, Nov. 4 -- The Congress, on Wednesday, challenged union Home Minister Amit Shah to address allegations of electoral irregularities in Haryana's 2024 Assembly elections and questions over law and order before leading the BJP's "Loktantra Bachao, Arajakta Hatao" (Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy) march in Karnal on Thursday.
All India Congress Committee general secretary in charge of Haryana Sanjay Dutt and state Congress president Rao Narender Singh, in a joint statement, accused the BJP of avoiding questions about electoral transparency, the independence of constitutional institutions, and public accountability while campaigning in the name of protecting democracy.
