Pune, July 14 -- The State Congress has extended its support to students demanding that Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) examinations continue in the offline mode, alleging that the panel's sudden decision to shift to online examinations is unfair and detrimental to lakhs of aspirants.
Addressing a press conference here, Maharashtra Pradesh Congress senior spokesperson Gopaldada Tiwari said the MPSC should not "play with the future of students" by introducing a major change in the examination system at short notice. He said lakhs of candidates invest years of preparation and substantial financial resources to secure administrative positions through the Commission.
