New Delhi, July 4 -- The Congress on Saturday launched a sharp attack on the BJP-led Central government ahead of the Monsoon Session of Parliament, accusing it of pursuing "revenge politics", undermining constitutional institutions and attempting to secure a two-thirds majority to alter the Constitution.

Talking to reporters in New Delhi, Congress general secretary in charge of communications Jairam Ramesh alleged that the ruling party's political strategy was driven by its inability to secure the numbers required for constitutional amendments.
