Hyderabad, April 20 -- Hyderabad District Congress Committee (DCC) president Syed Khalid Saifullah on Monday accused the BJP of spreading "false propaganda" on the women's reservation Bill and alleged that its implementation was deliberately delayed.
Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan, he said the Bill, passed in September 2023 with Congress' support was linked to Census and delimitation, preventing its rollout before the 2024 general election. He termed the BJP's claims on the issue as misleading.
