New Delhi, Aug. 31 -- The Congress on Monday launched a fresh attack on the Narendra Modi government, alleging that its newly approved 'Samudra Manthan' scheme has been structured to benefit the Adani Group while exposing the public-sector Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) to neglect.
The opposition party demanded that the scheme be scrapped or that its entire proposed outlay of Rs 84,084 crore be diverted to ONGC for offshore exploration, infrastructure development and employment generation.
