Bengaluru, May 31 -- Karnataka Chief Minister-designate DK Shivakumar on Sunday said logistical constraints at the Lok Bhavan have posed a challenge ahead of his swearing-in ceremony on June 3, prompting the Congress to arrange a live telecast so that party workers and supporters across the state can witness the event.
Speaking during an inspection of the proposed site for the new Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) headquarters in Bengaluru, Shivakumar said the limited capacity at the Lok Bhavan makes it impossible to accommodate all party leaders, workers and well-wishers at the oath-taking ceremony.
