Bengaluru, Aug. 24 -- Kunigal Congress MLA Rangnath on Monday arrived at the Vidhana Soudha in a bullock cart to highlight farmers' problems and accused the BJP of preventing discussion on issues concerning the farming community in the Legislature.
Speaking to reporters, Rangnath said several problems faced by farmers in his constituency needed to be discussed in the ongoing special session, particularly the situation arising from drought in rural areas.
"Farmers are facing several problems, including shortage of fodder for cattle and drinking water. People are also being forced to migrate," he said.
