Ranchi, March 17 -- The Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee has taken strict disciplinary action against several party members for alleged indiscipline and anti-party activities. The decision was taken by the party's disciplinary committee under the chairmanship of Rameshwar Oraon.

According to an official statement, Mahshar Imam and Sachchidanand Singh were found repeatedly involved in anti-party activities through social media.

Despite being issued show-cause notices earlier, their responses were deemed unsatisfactory. Meanwhile, Namita Ba, Akash Singh, Dilip Tirkey, Shishir Minj and Patras Ekka from Simdega district were accused of working against Congress-supported candidates during municipal elections.
