Tirupati, June 15 -- BJP spokesperson and Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Board Member Bhanu Prakash Reddy on Monday said a criminal complaint had been filed against actor Prakash Raj in a Tirupati court over his alleged remarks concerning Hindu deities.
Speaking to the media on the court premises, Bhanu Prakash Reddy said the complaint was filed through advocate Ajay Kumar, alleging that Prakash Raj made comments that hurt the religious sentiments of crores of Hindus.
He said notices had earlier been issued to the actor seeking an explanation, but no satisfactory response was received.
Reddy demanded an unconditional public apology from Prakash Raj and said legal proceedings would continue until the matter is adjudicated in court....
