Tirumala, March 29 -- Two companies on Sunday contributed over Rs 2 crore to trusts run by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams in Tirumala.
Bengaluru-based Bilva Infra donated Rs 1 crore to the TTD BIRRD Trust. The company's Managing Director Praveen S Nair handed over the demand draft to temple Peishkar Ramakrishna at the Ranganayakula Mandapam.
In a separate contribution, Visakhapatnam-based Devi Fisheries Limited donated Rs 1,01,25,000 to the Sri Venkateswara Pranadana Trust of TTD.
The donation was presented by the company's Directors Indraneel Chitturi and Mahendra Yarlagadda to temple official Ramakrishna at the same venue.
TTD officials received the contributions at the Ranganayakula Mandapam within the temple premises.
