New Delhi, June 1 -- Commercial LPG cylinder prices were increased across the country on Monday, raising operating costs for hotels, restaurants, caterers, and other businesses that depend on cooking gas. However, domestic LPG prices for households have remained unchanged.

The price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has been increased by Rs 42, taking the retail price to Rs 3,113.50 per cylinder. Kolkata witnessed the steepest hike of Rs 53.50, while prices in Mumbai and Chennai were raised by Rs 43.50 and Rs 46, respectively.

Oil marketing companies have also raised the price of 5-kg Free Trade LPG cylinders by Rs 11.
