Agartala, July 20 -- A 21-year-old college student was found dead under mysterious circumstances in a rented accommodation in the A D Nagar area of the city last night, raising significant concern and leading to a police inquiry.
Preliminary reports indicate that the deceased has been identified as Ashmita Reang, hailing from Khedachara village in North Tripura, along the Tripura-Mizoram border. She was enrolled as a second-year undergraduate student at Women's College, Agartala.
According to police, the incident was revealed when Ashmita's body was found in a rented room situated near the TV Tower in AD Nagar. This room was reportedly occupied by her boyfriend, Jemi Halam, who is also an undergraduate student at MBB College in the city, ...
