Chennai, Aug. 17 -- The recent murder of a college student in Coimbatore allegedly for sharing information on drug culture in the campus triggered heated exchanges between PWD Minister Aadhav Arjuna and Leader of the Opposition Udhayanidhi Stalin in the Tamil Nadu Assembly on Monday, culminating in the walk out by the principal Opposition DMK expressing dissatisfaction over the Government's reply.
When the matter was taken up by Speaker JCD Prabhakar as a Special Calling Attention motion given notice of by various members, the incident saw the ruling TVK and Opposition DMK trading charges over the rise in drug abuse and sexual related crimes.
