Shimla, June 15 -- : Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Monday called upon newly elected Panchayat Pradhans and Up-Pradhans to play an active role in eliminating drug abuse and contribute towards the creation of chitta-free panchayats across the state.
Addressing the oath-taking ceremony of newly elected Panchayat Pradhans and Up-Pradhans at Peterhoff here, the Chief Minister administered an anti-chitta pledge to the elected representatives and urged them to strengthen the campaign against drug abuse at the grassroots level.
