Ramgarh, March 5 -- Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Wednesday participated in the traditional Baha Festival at his ancestral village Nemra in Ramgarh district.
He, along with his family, joined villagers in the celebrations and offered prayers at the sacred Jaher Than, seeking peace, prosperity, happiness and progress for the people of the state.
Following traditional customs, the rituals were conducted by village priest (Naike Baba/Pahan) Chaitan Tudu and deputy priest (Kudam Naike Baba) Chotu Besra.
The Chief Minister walked from his residence in Nemra to Jaher Than along with villagers to participate in the Baha Puja.
