Aizawl, May 12 -- Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma on Monday stressed the need for improved coordination and timely follow-up in the implementation of Centrally-sponsored schemes during a meeting of the State Level DISHA Committee in Aizawl.
Chairing the meeting, the Chief Minister said departments should remain vigilant in handling Central funds under the newly introduced SNA-SPARSH financial management system, noting that some departments had faced difficulties in clearing year-end balances.
He also called for stronger convergence among departments implementing Central schemes, saying coordinated efforts had improved execution and outcomes in several sectors.
