Patna, Aug. 9 -- On the occasion of Bihar Earth Day 2026, Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Sunday planted saplings at the Lok Sevak Awas campus here and appealed to people to make environmental protection a mass movement.
Choudhary planted Kalpataru and Rudraksha saplings during the programme and urged people to incorporate environmental conservation commitments into their daily lives.
The programme focused on creating awareness among people about the need to protect the environment and conserve natural resources. An 11-point pledge for environmental protection was also released on the occasion.
