Patna, April 20 -- Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Monday virtually laid the foundation stone for a commercial building project worth Rs 18.11 crore at Parshuram Sthan in Mokama and inaugurated the annual Parshuram Mela.
Addressing the gathering via video conferencing, the Chief Minister extended greetings on the occasion of Parshuram Jayanti and welcomed public representatives, dignitaries and residents of Mokama.
He recalled that former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had undertaken several development initiatives in the region. Choudhary said that during his tenure as Deputy Chief Minister in 2025, he had inspected the mela premises and emphasised expanding the fair and improving facilities for devotees.
