Itanagar, May 1 -- Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Friday attended the ICPP Growth Conference 2026 at the Taj Mahal Hotel in New Delhi, where he highlighted the state's development trajectory and future potential.
The conference, hosted by the Isaac Centre for Public Policy under Ashoka University, brought together policymakers, academicians and thought leaders from across the country.
Addressing the gathering, Khandu described Arunachal Pradesh as strategically significant and rich in natural and cultural resources. He traced its evolution from the North-East Frontier Agency to full-fledged Statehood in 1987, and highlighted its diversity comprising 26 major tribes and over a hundred sub-tribes.
