Patna, Sept. 14 -- Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Monday announced that a two-day Hindi literary conclave will be organised in the state to promote the literary and cultural expansion of the Hindi language.

Addressing a Hindi Diwas function cum poet's meet here, Choudhary said prominent Hindi litterateurs, writers, poets and scholars from across the country would be invited to the conclave.

He directed the concerned officials to complete preparations for the event within a stipulated timeframe.

The Chief Minister said Hindi Diwas reminds people of both the pride and responsibility associated with their language.
